In this role,youllperform laboratory tests at the request of attending physicians, reportaccurateresults substantiatedthrough the use ofappropriatecontrols, andperform routine procedures across all areas of the laboratory with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities Perform laboratory tests necessary for the diagnosis and treatment of patients at the request of attending physicians. Report accurate laboratory results substantiated through the use of appropriate controls. Perform routine procedures across all areas of the laboratory. Demonstrateproficiencyand understanding of routine laboratory procedures. Perform assigned laboratory responsibilities with minimal supervision. Collaborative Teamwork This role involves working closely with our team to deliver effective, patient-focused services and contribute to a supportive and collaborative work environment. Qualifications Current State of California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license is mandatory; a license from a National Registry is desirable. BLS certificationrequiredandmaintainedthereafter. Twelve months as a traineerequired; 13 years of experience desirable. Proficiencyin the routine work of all laboratory departments isrequired; expanded knowledge and interest in one or more areas is desirable. Ability to read, write,understandand communicate effectively in the English language. Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with our patients, families, and coworkers.
