Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Join our team as a Per Diem Clinical Laboratory Scientist, where you'll contribute to high-quality laboratory services in the Emergency Department, Anesthesiology, and Core Laboratory. In this role, you'll handle specimen processing, method development, testing across multiple areas, instrument maintenance, quality control, and data entry.

Note: This position primarily covers the day shift, though additional shift coverage may be required based on operational needs.

Salary Range: $78.99 - $78.99/hour (flat rate)

May convert to career.

Job Qualifications

  • Current and valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.
  • Recent demonstrated technical competence in high volume chemistry/hematology.
  • Must pass the Ishihara Color Vision exam, i.e. visual acuity including color differentiation.
  • Two years of recent experience performing testing in a high volume laboratory, preferred.

As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts an offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of substantiated misconduct with a previous employer.
