THE ROLE

Our client is seeking a full-time permanent Clinical Manager for their Emergency Department in Danville, VA 24541. The Clinical Manager will provide direct supervisory and management oversight of ED nursing operations, ensuring clinical standards and patient care quality are maintained. This is a direct hire position requiring active RN licensure and established management experience within an emergency care setting. One vacancy currently open.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide supervisory and operational management of the Emergency Department nursing team
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality, evidence-based patient care in the ED
  • Monitor clinical outcomes, regulatory compliance, and accreditation standards
  • Lead staff scheduling, performance management, and professional development
  • Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and hospital leadership to optimise ED operations
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental planning

REQUIREMENTS

Must-Have

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licence - current and in good standing
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a clinical setting
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in an Emergency Department as an RN
