Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for planning, monitoring, and improving overall clinical services delivered to adults within out Community Residential Services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Train Applied Behavioral Support (ABS) staff on behavioral/treatment plans
Manage a caseload of children and their families with tasks, including but not limited to:
Formulating comprehensive assessments for assigned children and their families' strengths, weaknesses, and areas for development and growth
Providing regular individual and family therapy and participating as an active and available member of the overall treatment climate
Creating, maintaining and supervising the behavior/treatment plan with active participation of all necessary team members
Communicating with team members, clients, and their families, as well as outside agencies and referral sources
Conducting Functional Behavioral Analysis (FBAs), clinical interventions, as well as developing the necessary auxiliary materials to assist assigned clients in their treatment/behavioral goals Conduct Managed Care Organizations (MCO) reviews including clinical reviews of assigned children, family involvement, home visits, and family therapy for the families on their caseload Create and maintain contemporaneous documentation of therapeutic sessions and treatment progress Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), crisis intervention and medication administration using agency-trained protocols
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
Master's degree in psychology with Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) focus. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) eligible or BCBA licensed preferred
Four (4) years of experience developing and providing therapeutic interventions to children and youth on the Autism Spectrum
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
Demonstrated strong time management and organizational skills
Demonstrated excellent judgment with the ability to independently solve problems and make decisions with little or no need for direct supervision
Demonstrated ability to anticipate future needed changes or identify problem areas and take effective actions
Must be able to perform CPR, and medication administration using agency-trained protocols and perform crisis intervention protocol
Must possess excellent customer interaction, collaboration, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated intermediate experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; report-writer experience preferred
Knowledge of Electronic Health Record (EHR) / Electronic Medical Record (EMR) preferred
Must possess a current, valid driver's license in state of residence, have a minimum of two (2) years of driving experience within the United States, and have an acceptable driving record
