JOB GOAL:
To oversee and ensure the provision of clinical/behavioral support services for students attending Trinity Day Academy.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Supervise and support clinical and/or behavioral staff to develop and implement programs that meet the needs of the whole student. 2.Supervise clinical/behavioral staff at Trinity Day Academy 3.Coordinate the development of a Response to Intervention (RTI) model for the district to include both in-school and community supports and interventions, to address social, emotional and behavioral learning. 4.Oversee the collection of statistical and student data (including behavioral infractions, at-risk forms) and reporting prior to the submission to the Principal and Executive Director of Special Education and Student Services. 5.Attend Team Meetings as necessary to ensure provisions of quality special education and/or related clinical/behavioral services. 6.Ensure that students Individual Education Programs (IEPs) are being followed and clinical/behavioral services are being provided. 7.Keep informed on all legal requirements governing special education. 8.Create and deliver professional development to staff as it relates to clinical/behavioral needs of students. 9.Work collaboratively with all school staff: provide technical assistance and consultation to better support students exhibiting social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties. 10.Ensure staff maintain consistent and frequent communication with parents and community partners. 11.Develop workshops and trainings for staff, parents and community partners in order to improve compliance and improve programming for students with social/emotional disabilities. 12.Work with the other administrators of Special Education to ensure the thorough completion of the MA DESEs Mid-Cycle and Coordinate Program Reviews. 13.Assist Principal to plan and coordinate Extended Year Services (EYS) services for all students who receive programmatic, academic and/or related services during the summer. 14.Assist Principal to plan interview, recommend new hires, and supervise purposeful assignments of staff. 15.Maintain accurate, complete and correct student and staff records as required by law, district, policy and administrative regulation. 16.Attend specific meetings (in and out of district) as assigned by the Principal and/or Executive Director of Special Education and Student Services 17.Other duties as assigned
