Schedule: Monday through Friday | Eight-hour shifts scheduled between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Pay: $22.97–$27.00 per hour

A confidential healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to support a fast-paced outpatient clinical environment in the greater San Diego area. This is a full-time opportunity with no PRN scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients, obtain vital signs, and document medical information
- Prepare examination rooms and assist healthcare providers during patient visits
- Perform blood draws, injections, skin tests, and other authorized clinical procedures
- Process referrals and prior authorizations
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
- Provide administrative and clinical support while protecting patient confidentiality
- Follow established infection-control, safety, and quality standards
Minimum Qualifications
- At least one year of Certified Medical Assistant experience within the past two years
- Current Certified Medical Assistant credential or registration through an accepted organization, including AAMA, AMT, or NHA
- Graduation from a qualifying Medical Assistant training program accredited by one of the following:
- Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)
- Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES)
- Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC)
- Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS)
- Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET)
- Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC)
- Qualifying formal medical-services training completed through the United States Armed Forces may also be accepted
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- Ability to complete the required background and security screening
A Medical Assistant program completion certificate alone does not satisfy the certification requirement. Applicants must also possess a current CMA certification or registration from an accepted credentialing organization.
