Clinical Medical Director (DVM) – Lafayette, CO

A growing veterinary practice is seeking an experienced veterinarian to join its team in a leadership-focused role. This opportunity is well suited for a doctor who is interested in providing high-quality patient care while helping guide a veterinary team and contribute to the development of the practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and urgent care services.
• Evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and communicate recommendations to clients.
• Lead and support veterinary and support staff.
• Promote a positive, collaborative practice culture.
• Mentor other veterinarians and contribute to clinical development.
• Help establish and maintain effective clinical workflows.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with applicable veterinary standards.
• Support the continued growth and development of the practice.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
• Active veterinary license or eligibility for licensure.
• Minimum of 5 years of veterinary experience preferred.
• Current DEA license and USDA accreditation or ability to obtain.
• Strong clinical and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care and team development.
