Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist – Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field as required by individual clients.
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required.
• Active Hawaii state laboratory license required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Medical Technologist, including experience obtaining specimen results and performing testing in a hospital laboratory setting.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to work rotating 8-hour shifts including weekends and to meet a 40 hours/week requirement.
• Must be able to work in the laboratory “back” areas and manage specimen processing and result verification.
