Get to Know Your Team:Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000-square-foot facility that offers the latest medical programs, cutting-edge technology, and patient-focused care that includes 365 beds, 1,200+ employees and a 27-bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit. ResponsibilitiesThe Clinical Navigator RN demonstrates critical thinking, initiative and expertise in oncology. He/she will provide care coordination throughout the cancer continuum. In addition, the Clinical Navigator RN is responsible to coordinate and provide survivorship information for ongoing health and wellness according to the Commission on Cancer (CoC) standard requirements. QualificationsJob Requirements:Associate's Degree in Nursing. 2+ years' experience as an Oncology Registered Nurse. Current valid NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License. Fluency in the English language to function in job environment appropriately. Demonstrate knowledge of clinical guidelines (e.g. NCCN, AJCC, CoC) and specialty resources throughout the disease process. Preferred Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Oncology Certified Nurse. Must be willing to obtain within 1 year of employment. Demonstrate knowledge of current computer systems, equipment or programs used in the organization, knowledge of Epic. Bilingual.
