Summary:

The Clinical Nurse Educator at Morton Plant Rehabilitation Center assesses, develops, implements, and leads educational activities designed to grow, maintain, and improve the professional competence of clinical team members and creates and oversees assigned clinical programs by completing needs assessments. Morton Plant Rehabilitation Center provides specialized rehabilitative and skilled nursing care, making experience in the SNF setting essential.

Your Role Within the Team:

• Assess, develop, and lead educational programs that strengthen clinical competence and professional growth for rehabilitation and skilled nursing team members
• Design and oversee department-specific education based on identified learning needs and quality initiatives
• Support clinical orientation and ongoing education for new and existing team members
• Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for evidence-based practice and clinical education
• Partner with clinical leaders and interdisciplinary teams to support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Provide consultation and guidance on education requirements, competencies, and available learning resources
• Act as a positive change agent by supporting practice improvement, communication, and engagement
• Perform Registered Nurse functions and other duties as assigned, as needed

Qualifications Required

• BSN with 3 years of clinical experience
• Skilled Nursing Experience

Preferred

• Professional organization certification
• ANPD certification

Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies
