Clinical Nurse II - Nbmc 1800 Acute Care (Per Diem, Variable)

At Northbay Health, as a Registered Nurse on the Acute Care Unit, you will provide safe, effective, quality, excellent nursing care to our patients following Jean Watson's Theory of Caring, the Relationship Based Care, and Northbay's professional nursing practice model. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for all patients assigned to your care. You will also use a therapeutic professional relationship with the patient and their family, along with your interdisciplinary team to facilitate the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health for the patient.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional registered nursing
• Clinical Nurse II: Graduate from an accredited school of professional registered nursing, BSN required.
• Collegiate Clinical Nurse II: Graduate from an accredited school of professional registered nursing, ADN required. Must be completed with a BSN or MSN program within 36 months of hire into Collegiate Clinical Nurse position.

License and Certifications:

• Valid, current and unencumbered RN license by the State of California.

• Current AHA or AHA equivalent BLS

• National Certification preferred

• Professional Organization Membership preferred

Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

• Six months acute care RN experience required
• One full year of skilled nursing care, Long Term Acute Care, or Acute Rehabilitation is equivalent to six months of acute care experience.
• Competent in providing skilled registered nursing care to Medical/Surgical/Tele level patients
• Proficient written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.

Other:

• All RNs in the Patient Care Services Department are required to wear Graphite (Dark Gray) colored scrubs per the professional appearance policy.

Pay Range:

• $85.12 - $102.65 (Includes 10% per diem differential)
