    We have a great opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse in our outpatient infusion clinic in Corona. The nurse plays a crucial role in providing specialized care to our patients in the outpatient chemotherapy infusion clinic. Your primary responsibility is to deliver comprehensive nursing care to the patients while assisting them through their treatment journey offering emotional support and education. The nurses at City of Hope play a vital role in improving the quality of life for cancer patients by providing expert care, support, and education throughout their cancer journey.

    As a successful candidate, you will:

    • Assessing patients' health status
    • Developing and implementing care plans
    • Administering chemotherapy and other medications, monitoring patents' vital signs and symptoms
    • Providing education and support to patients and their families and coordinating care and follow-up appointments. Help with managing side effects and complications from their cancer treatment. Involved in quality improvement initiatives, and patient education programs specific to cancer care.

    Your qualifications should include:

    • If hired before May 1, 2012: Graduate from nursing school with a diploma, Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. If hired after May 1, 2012, Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in Nursing is required.

    • Three to five years related experience

    • Current California Registered Nurse license

    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association

    • Current ONS chemo/immuno certification
