Position:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Nurse Manager based at Woodland View, Ayrshire Central Hospital. This post is offered on a permanent basis.
Hours:
36.00 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
From 1 April 2026, the working week for NHS Agenda for Change staff in Scotland will be reduced. Full-time hours will reduce from 37 to 36 hours (pro rata for part-time staff) without loss of earnings.
UK Driving Licence:
A UK driving licence is essential for this role.
What you will do:
You will lead/manage Elderly Mental Health Inpatient wards under North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership. These wards are based across Woodland View (Wards 3 and 4) and Ailsa Hospital site (Dunure and Clonbeith). You will be expected to be able to travel between sites to provide visible leadership.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required for this post:
If successful you will be joining a small team that requires to work collectively, innovatively and at pace to support the safe delivery of mental health inpatient and forensic services - responding to competing demands across the remit of services whilst ensuring the delivery of compassionate, person-centred services.
