Job Description
A growing healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to oversee operations across two free-standing emergency departments. This leader will provide 24-hour oversight of nursing operations, staff performance, patient care quality, and departmental efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and staffing for the Emergency Department
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff
- Support hiring, onboarding, orientation, and staff development
- Monitor productivity, scheduling, overtime, and supply utilization
- Promote patient satisfaction and service excellence
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
- Lead quality improvement and performance initiatives
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary departments to coordinate patient care
- Assist with incident follow-up, chart audits, and operational support
