Clinical Operations Coordinator

DonorConnect is seeking a full-time Clinical Operations Coordinator. The Clinical Operations Coordinator plays a multifaceted role in providing administrative support to several of DonorConnect's clinical operations teams as part of the Administration Department. This role is responsible for meeting administration, data tracking, and assistance with special projects and department goals. This position encompasses both tactical and operational responsibilities, allowing the Clinical Operations Coordinator to actively contribute to the organization's mission and overall success. This individual possesses exceptional organizational and communication skills, enabling them to facilitate smooth operations and foster eective collaboration within and among the departments they support, which may include Aftercare, Donor Family Services, Organ Recovery, Organ Referral, Recovery, & Organ Utilization Services, Professional Education/Hospital Services, Surgical Services, Tissue Donation, & Tissue Recovery Services, and Transportation Services.

This position is a 36 hour work week and onsite presence is required in Murray, UT.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Training/Education/Certication:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's degree preferred, and/or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
  • Technical and administrative support training preferred
  • Medical terminology preferred

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of two years of administrative support experience, previous experience within healthcare or an organ procurement organization preferred
  • Strong skills with software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Knowledge of standard computer/oce equipment
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and responsible team player
  • Well-organized, accurate, and attentive to detail
  • Flexible, willing to assist others
  • Able to function and complete work with competing priorities and expectations
  • Sensitive with the ability to maintain condentiality
  • Able to work well independently and to prioritize work
  • Sensitive to HIPAA requirements and able to maintain condentiality
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to move up to 10 pounds at times with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to reason logically and make sound decisions, to consider alternative and diverse perspectives, to communicate eectively both orally and in writing
