Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers with eighteen locations across seven states. We provide individualized, evidence-based treatment across detox, residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient levels of care in clean, modern environments.We are seeking a Clinical Operations Manager to support and scale clinical excellence across our multi-site behavioral health network by improving systems, strengthening programming, and ensuring consistency in care delivery, documentation, and compliance.Position OverviewLocation: Corporate office based in Lakewood, NJ Travel: Occasional travel to facilities preferredHours: Full-timeKey ResponsibilitiesClinical Quality, Compliance & OversightEnsure consistency in clinical care delivery across all levels of careOversee documentation standards, chart quality, and clinical complianceConduct audits, site visits, and quality reviews to maintain regulatory and internal standardsPartner with utilization review and leadership on clinical and compliance needsSystems, EMR & Workflow OptimizationImprove and standardize clinical workflows and systems across facilitiesEnsure EMR templates and processes meet clinical, billing, and authorization requirementsIdentify gaps in operational processes and implement scalable solutionsTraining & Workforce DevelopmentLead onboarding, training, and ongoing development of clinical staff and leadershipImplement clinical curriculum, tools, and training resources across sitesStrengthen crisis response training including prevention, de-escalation, and interventionMulti-Site Clinical Operations & StrategySupport new facility openings and ongoing operational clinical initiativesDevelop and track clinical performance metrics to improve outcomes and retentionResearch and integrate best practices in substance use and co-occurring treatmentCollaborate cross-functionally with operations, leadership, and clinical teamsQualificationsRequired / PreferredMaster's degree in Behavioral Health, Psychology, Social Work, or related field (preferred)Active clinical license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent) preferredExperience in substance use treatment strongly preferredExperienceMulti-site clinical operations, program leadership, or systems-level clinical workExperience in audits, compliance, quality assurance, or regulatory oversightBackground in training, curriculum development, or clinical supervision preferredCore SkillsStrong clinical systems and operational thinkingAbility to manage multiple priorities across locationsData-driven approach to quality and outcomesExcellent communication and cross-functional collaborationLeadership mindset with strong organizational skills Why Join Avenues?At Avenues, our people are our greatest strength.
