About the Role: Essential Eyecare & Optical in Longwood, FL is looking for a dynamic and experienced Clinical Operations Manager to lead our primary care and vision therapy office. Responsibilities:
Oversee daily clinical operations for a primary care and vision therapy office, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows
Lead, mentor, and manage clinical and administrative staff to maintain high standards of patient care
Assist in scheduling, patient flow, and treatment planning support
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, HIPAA standards, and office policies
Collaborate with optometrists and vision therapists to optimize clinical protocols and patient outcomes
Monitor and manage inventory, equipment, and supply needs for clinical operations
Track key performance metrics and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in healthcare or clinical operations management, preferably in optometry or ophthalmology
Strong knowledge of primary eye care practices and/or vision therapy programs
Proven leadership and team management skills in a clinical setting
Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and medical office software
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of healthcare compliance, billing, and insurance processes
