A veterinary organization is seeking a Clinical Operations Veterinarianto support multiple hospitals within a region. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys a mix of clinical work and leadership, with a strong focus on mentorship, collaboration, and operational excellence. This position offers the opportunity to remain hands-on in patient care while also guiding veterinary teams and contributing to the overall success of multiple practices.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality medical care and perform procedures
Provide case consultations and clinical support to DVMs
Mentor veterinarians in areas such as surgery, dentistry, and case management
Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of veterinary staff
Analyze performance metrics and contribute to operational improvements
Ensure compliance with medical standards and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with leadership on scheduling, staffing, and hospital performance
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree
Active veterinary license
3+ years of clinical experience
Strong leadership and mentorship abilities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Willingness to travel between supported hospitals
