Position Summary
The Clinical Operations & Strategy Manager serves as a strategic advisor responsible for leading complex operational transformation initiatives across the Department of Ophthalmology. Working in partnership with executive leadership, physicians, clinical leaders, and administrative teams, this position identifies opportunities to improve patient access, operational efficiency, financial performance, workforce utilization, clinical quality, and patient experience. The Manager functions as an internal executive consultant, independently leading enterprise-level initiatives from assessment through implementation while providing data-driven recommendations that support the department''s strategic priorities. This role requires extensive experience navigating complex healthcare organizations, facilitating organizational change, influencing leaders without direct authority, and driving measurable operational outcomes.

Minimum Required Qualifications
EducationBachelor''s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Nursing, Industrial Engineering, Organizational Leadership, or a related discipline. Equivalent combinations of progressive executive leadership experience, and demonstrated expertise in healthcare operations may be substituted for formal degree requirements.
Experience
Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible healthcare leadership, consulting, operational strategy, or performance improvement experience. Demonstrated experience leading large-scale operational transformation initiatives. Experience partnering directly with physicians, executive leaders, and multidisciplinary teams. Experience developing operational strategy, workforce optimization initiatives, financial improvement plans, and organizational redesign. Experience utilizing healthcare analytics to drive executive decision-making. Demonstrated success leading organizational change in complex healthcare environments.
