The Chaplain Resident will provide pastoral care and counseling to patients, families, hospital and medical staff and demonstrates continued educational growth and development in the chaplain residency program in accordance with the Standards of the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
Sits for up to 6 hours per day; 2 hours at a time. Stands and walks up to 1 hour each daily. Sits for up to 2 hours per day. Stands and walks up 5-6 hours daily. Uses hands and fingers frequently. Rarely lifts or carries up to 10 pounds. Occasionally stoops, bends, squats, crouches or kneels. Hearing, as it relates to normal conversation. Seeing, as it relates to general vision.
EDUCATION:
M.Div. or equivalent, at the discretion of department staff.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Readiness for learning in a program of CPE.
