    Clinical Pharmacist for Critical Care at Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR.

    Full-Time/Variable Shift

    Providence St. Vincent Medical Center (PSVMC) is a 523-bed community teaching hospital and tertiary referral center. The Clinical Pharmacist - Critical Care provides care to patients in our Medical-Surgical ICU, Cardiac ICU, and Neurocritical Care Unit. The clinical pharmacist works closely with multidisciplinary teams in the adult ICUs to provide direct patient care, including rounding and responding to medical emergencies. The clinical pharmacist will have a secondary clinical practice area based on departmental needs and pharmacist experience. The clinical pharmacist also serves as a preceptor for our pharmacy residents and student pharmacists. Our clinical pharmacists work 10-hour shifts (weekdays and every third weekend) which will be primarily days and evenings.

    Required Qualifications:

    • PharmD in Pharmacy or

    • Bachelor''s Degree in Pharmacy.

    • Upon hire: Oregon Pharmacist License.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Completed PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency OR
    • 2 years of experience as a critical care pharmacist

    Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate''s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
