The Clinical Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care by reviewing physicians' orders for appropriateness of drug ordered, dosage, route, and potential interactions. The Clinical Pharmacist counsels Nurses and Physician about medications and medication-related issues. The Clinical Pharmacist compounds, fills, and dispenses pharmaceutical preparations and achieves departmental and organizational objectives by providing pharmaceutical information and assistance to all members of the patient care team.
Qualifications
Education:
Post Graduate Degree (PHARMD Required)
License/Certification:
OK Pharmacist License
BLS Required
ACLS with in 90 days of hire
PGY 1 Pharmacy Residency and/or BCPS Certification (within 3 years from date of hire)
