    Role Description The Clinical Pharmacist is a full-time, on-site role based in Inglewood, CA, responsible for providing clinical and dispensing services for infusion and specialty medications. The Clinical Pharmacist reviews and verifies prescriptions, performs clinical assessments, and ensures appropriate medication selection, dosing, and monitoring in accordance with evidence-based guidelines and regulatory standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing and checking compounded sterile products, collaborating with prescribers and nurses on therapy plans, and counseling patients on medication use, side effects, and adherence. The role also involves coordinating treatment logistics with the pharmacy team, managing medication inventories, documenting clinical interventions, and supporting quality assurance, safety, and compliance initiatives. The Clinical Pharmacist contributes to continuous improvement efforts and serves as a clinical resource for patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.

    Qualifications

    • Demonstrated expertise in Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacy, including dispensing, clinical review, and regulatory compliance.
    • \n
    • Strong grounding in Pharmaceutical Care and Medicine, with the ability to assess therapy appropriateness and monitor clinical outcomes.
    • \n
    • Proficiency in Compounding, particularly sterile and non-sterile preparations, following USP and applicable state and federal standards.
    • \n
    • Active Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree and current, unrestricted pharmacist license in California.
    • \n
    • Experience in infusion therapy, specialty pharmacy, or hospital/clinical pharmacy settings preferred.
    • \n
    • Knowledge of insurance prior authorization processes, specialty medication reimbursement, and patient assistance programs is an advantage.
    • \n
    • Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to patient safety and quality care.
    • \n
    • Effective interpersonal and communication skills to work with patients, caregivers, prescribers, and interdisciplinary teams.
    • \n
    • Ability to work on-site in Inglewood, CA, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to evolving clinical and operational needs.
