Job Summary: The Pain Management Clinical Pharmacist will provide direct patient care and pharmaceutical services. The Clinical Pharmacist will maintain comprehensive medication therapy management and services under a defined scope of practice. In addition, will review electronic medical records to monitor drug therapy for appropriateness, and adverse drug reactions.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)
Graduate from a college or university accredited by the Accreditation Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) or a Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination Committee (FPGEC) certificate and active licensure from a U.S. state, territory, or district.
Licensure:
Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a clinical pharmacist in one of the 50 US States and/or territories
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Internship/Residency: Completion of a clinical pharmacy internship, residency and/or fellowship accredited by the American Society of Health System Pharmacists or American College of Clinical Pharmacy
Requirements for additional Pharmacist privileges include one of the following:
Certification by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties in one or more recognized practice areas appropriate for the privileges requested (e.g., Pharmacotherapy, Ambulatory Care Pharmacy, et.); or completion of a clinical pharmacy residency or fellowship accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists or American College of Clinical Pharmacy; or completion of a Post-Graduate Master of Science degree with emphasis in medication
therapy management or direct patient care.

Work Environment and Schedule: On site, Monday- Friday, 0630 -1800
Compensation & Benefits: Up to $161,00 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Physical requirements: Prolonged standing and walking; frequent computer and telephone use; manual dexterity for handling medications and pharmacy equipment; ability to read medication labels and patient records; occasional lifting/carrying up to 25 pounds; and ability to bend, reach, and move throughout the pharmacy/clinical setting while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
