Clinical Pharmacist

This is a Clinical Pharmacist opportunity at a 238-bed acute care hospital in Panama City, FL — a comprehensive facility featuring Advanced Primary Stroke Care certification, an Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Resuscitation, a Comprehensive Breast Care Center accreditation, certified women's services, and the region's only Level III NICU, Pediatric ICU, and dedicated Pediatric ER. The hospital also provides robotic surgery, cardiac and vascular services, and orthopedic and joint replacement programs.

The role. Reporting to Pharmacy Leadership, the Clinical Pharmacist delivers general clinical and pharmacy services while supervising pharmacy technical staff. Day-to-day work centers on interpreting, verifying, and accurately transcribing orders into the pharmacy system, compounding and dispensing pharmaceuticals, and monitoring drug therapy regimens for contraindications, drug-drug and drug-food interactions, allergies, and dose appropriateness. The pharmacist sustains the hospital formulary by minimizing nonformulary procurements and promoting rational drug therapy selection through therapeutic interchanges. Clinical service responsibilities include drug consults, pharmacokinetics, anticoagulant monitoring, pain management, IV-to-PO conversions, and renal dosing, with all interventions documented completely alongside medication error and adverse drug reaction notifications.

What we're looking for.

• At least 1 year of recent Clinical Pharmacist experience in an acute hospital setting (acute hospital experience within the last year is required)
• B.S. or Pharm.D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
• Active pharmacist license in good standing with the Florida State Board of Pharmacy

Schedule. Mixed shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM and 9:30 AM – 8:00 PM.

Compensation. $58.15 - $73.56/hr plus $10,000 sign-on bonus
