44-bed adult medical-surgical oncology unit
Medical patients requiring acute oncology care including chemotherapy administration, symptom management, and complex care and monitoring
Surgical patients receiving post-op care for laparoscopic and complex oncology related surgeries including:
Thyroidectomies
Gastrectomies
Adrenalectomies
Splenectomies
Liver resections
Bowel resections
Melanoma excisions
Pancreaticoduodenectomies (Whipple procedure)

Required Qualifications:
Current, valid license to practice nursing in Iowa
3+ years of clinical nursing experience
Demonstrates knowledge and experience with:
Staff education and development
Outcomes based practice and quality improvement
Leading change processes including implementation of evidence-based practice
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in computer software applications
