Join our Nursing Staff Development Team as a Clinical Practice Specialist RN and play a key role in advancing clinical excellence, professional development, and evidence-based practice across our critical care services.

Position Summary

The Clinical Practice Specialist RN serves as a clinical expert, educator, mentor, and change agent, partnering with nursing leaders and frontline staff to support professional practice, improve patient outcomes, and foster a culture of continuous learning and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs, tools, and resources for nursing staff.
• Lead and support evidence-based practice initiatives and performance improvement projects that advance quality, safety, and patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with Nurse Managers and interdisciplinary teams to promote best practices, enhance clinical competency, and strengthen professional nursing practice.
• Serve as a clinical consultant and expert resource, providing guidance on complex patient care issues and care planning.
• Mentor and support nurses in their professional growth, including specialty certification, advanced education, and participation in professional organizations.
• Assist in the orientation, onboarding, and ongoing development of newly hired nursing staff.
• Promote a culture of lifelong learning, accountability, and excellence in patient care.
• Function as a clinical and operational resource for Nursing Staff Development initiatives across designated specialty areas.

Required Qualifications

• Master''s Degree in Nursing required.
• Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Demonstrated clinical experience in critical care nursing.
• Specialty certification required within 12 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialty certification upon hire.
• Previous experience in nursing education, staff development, or clinical leadership.
• Experience leading quality improvement, evidence-based practice, or clinical transformation initiatives.

Pay Range:

$63,548.16 USD - $159,128.32 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
