Job Title: Clinical Preceptor for Radiologic Sciences Program

Job Summary:
The Clinical Preceptor for the Radiologic Sciences Program provides direct supervision, instruction, and evaluation of radiography students at assigned clinical affiliate sites. The role supports student learning through orientation, competency evaluations, image critique, feedback, and remediation while ensuring adherence to program standards and accreditation requirements. The Clinical Preceptor fosters student success by maintaining current knowledge of the radiologic sciences, modeling professionalism, and contributing to continuous program improvement.
Responsibilities:
Supervisory Responsibility
This position will manage a group of 3rd year and 4th year radiologic sciences students at assigned affiliated clinical sites and clinical orientation workshops (prior to rotation placement) at the St. Vincent's Health Sciences Center.
Work Environment
The employees work environment will be their assigned clinical facility and the Queens main campus.

Environmental Conditions
Clinical facilities can expose employees to various occupational hazards that can significantly impact their health and safety. These hazards include exposure to infectious diseases, workplace violence, and ergonomic risks associated with manual patient handling and repetitive tasks.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
8 hours per week divided across 1 or 2 days as needed per semester.
Travel
Employees are required to have their own method of transportation to and from their assigned clinical site and to campus as needed.

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly salary for this position is $91.00.
