What Youll Do
- Conduct psychological evaluations utilizing clinical interviews, testing, and collateral sources
- Establish psychiatric diagnoses following APA guidelines and DSM criteria
- Provide individual and group psychological treatment to patients
- Assist medical and surgical patients in managing mental health conditions
- Perform targeted assessments, including diagnostic impressions and functional status evaluations
- Practice within state licensing board guidelines, APA ethical principles, and privileges
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Support the mental health needs of active-duty personnel and their families in a military healthcare setting
What You Need
- Required:
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program
- Successful completion of APA-accredited internship/residency
- Active, unrestricted license to practice
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed Clinical Psychologist
- Ability to pass a government background check/security clearance
- Preferred:
- Experience in military or healthcare environments
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
