    About the Job

    Carter Psychology Center is seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our growing team of experienced mental health professionals. In this role, you will provide psychological assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment for individuals experiencing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, cognitive, and interpersonal concerns. You will work collaboratively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers to develop individualized treatment plans that promote long-term mental wellness.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
    • Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
    • Provide individual, couples, family, and group psychotherapy as appropriate.
    • Diagnose and treat mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, behavioral concerns, adjustment disorders, and other mental health conditions.
    • Administer, score, and interpret psychological assessment instruments.
    • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation.
    • Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, educators, and community resources to coordinate patient care.
    • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and coping strategies.
    • Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and clinical consultations.
    • Stay current with advances in psychological research, ethics, and best clinical practices.

    Requirements

    • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
    • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Clinical Psychologist.
    • Experience providing psychotherapy and psychological assessment across diverse populations.
    • Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic interventions.
    • Excellent diagnostic, clinical interviewing, and report-writing skills.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.
    • Commitment to ethical practice, cultural competence, and patient-centered care.
    • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical environment.
