- Citizenship Requirements: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Clearance Requirements: National Background Check with Inquiries, Fingerprints, and Drug Screen.
- Type of Employment: Full-Time, 40 hours per week.
- Period of Performance: Five years from the date of Award.
- Paid Time Off: Up to 80 hours per year, which starts accruing on the day of hire.
- Sick Leave per Year: Up to 56 hours per year, which starts occurring on the day of hire.
- Paid Federal Holidays: Eleven (11) Paid Federal Holidays
Qualifications
- The Clinical Psychologist shall have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology from a graduate program in psychology accredited by the APA Commission on Accreditation (APA-CoA),
- Full, current, and unrestricted license to practice clinical psychology or counseling psychology at the doctoral level in the District of Columbia, or a state, territory, or Commonwealth of the United States.
- At least five experience within the last seven years of verifiable work experience as a licensed Psychologist specializing in counseling psychology or a licensed Clinical Psychologist, working with justice-involved populations

Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for justice-involved individuals with a wide range of mental health conditions.
- Provide individual and group psychotherapy, counseling, crisis intervention, and evidence-based behavioral health services to support patient rehabilitation and well-being.
- Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans, documenting clinical findings, progress notes, and recommendations in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare, correctional, and case management teams to coordinate care, manage risk, and support continuity of treatment.
- Apply specialized expertise in counseling and clinical psychology to address the unique behavioral health needs of justice-involved populations while maintaining compliance with ethical, legal, and institutional requirements.
