Northern Light Acadia Hospital in Bangor, Maine is seeking a full-time Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) to join our collaborative, mission-driven Developmental Psychology Assessment Services team. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to provide psychological expertise across inpatient and outpatient settings while working closely with multidisciplinary colleagues dedicated to high-quality care.

Position Highlights:

  • Serve as the psychology consultant to pediatric inpatient interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, social workers, nursing staff, and occupational therapists
  • Lead and facilitate evidence-based group therapy for children and adolescents on inpatient psychiatric units
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological testing and assessments for diagnostic clarification and treatment planning
  • Opportunities to provide outpatient therapy and psychological evaluations, based on interest and scheduling preferences
  • Teaching and research opportunities available for candidates interested in academic or professional development activities

Compensation Information:

  • $110,240.00-$128,960.00 annual base salary.
  • The compensation range listed reflects the range Northern Light Health anticipates relying on in setting the wages for the position. The range may not necessarily include all additional compensation elements available, including but not limited to call pay, leadership stipends, etc.
