Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Receptionist to join our dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality service to our patients by answering phones, ensuring calls are directed to the appropriate person, and managing patient check-in and check-out processes. You will also be responsible for scheduling appointments and verifying the completeness of patient records.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and provide quality service.
• Direct calls to the appropriate personnel.
• Check patients in and out efficiently.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Verify completeness of patient information.
• Provide administrative and clerical support.

Essential Skills

• 4+ years of experience or 2+ years experience with an Associate"s degree.
• Experience with Epic software.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and strong attendance record.
• Ability to stay on task and handle a high workload.

Work Environment

This position is within a pediatrics department, requiring work hours from 8 am to 5:30 pm, totaling 37.5 hours per week. The work environment is nurturing and supportive, focused on delivering exceptional medical care using advanced and innovative technology. The dress code is professional attire suitable for a medical setting.

This is a Contract position based out of New Haven, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
