Position Overview

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced Clinical Recruiter for a fully remote contract opportunity supporting a growing home healthcare organization. This position will focus on full-cycle recruiting for clinical healthcare positions across West Coast markets.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of recruiting experience, including 2+ years of clinical recruiting experience, and a demonstrated ability to proactively source candidates, develop strong talent pipelines, and fill healthcare positions in a fast-paced environment.

Experience recruiting within home health, home care, or hospice is highly preferred. Candidates must be located in the Central or Pacific time zone and be able to support recruiting activities across Pacific and Central business hours.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Manage full-cycle recruitment for clinical healthcare positions across assigned West Coast markets.
  
• 
  Develop and maintain pipelines of qualified clinical candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  
• 
  Proactively source candidates through Indeed, job boards, social media, professional networks, industry associations, schools, conferences, referrals, and other sourcing channels.
  
• 
  Create and post job advertisements across appropriate job boards, professional platforms, schools, and other recruiting resources.
  
• 
  Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  
• 
  Conduct phone screens and candidate interviews using structured and competency-based interviewing techniques.
  
• 
  Evaluate candidates based on relevant clinical experience, qualifications, skills, communication, and overall position fit.
  
• 
  Coordinate candidates throughout the interview and selection process.
  
• 
  Support pre-employment and onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to new hire.
  
• 
  Maintain accurate and timely candidate and recruiting activity within iCIMS.
  
• 
  Build strong candidate relationships and serve as a primary point of contact throughout the recruiting process.
  
• 
  Partner with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to understand hiring priorities and candidate requirements.
  
• 
  Apply recruiting best practices to improve sourcing, candidate engagement, and time-to-fill.
  
• 
  Track recruiting activity and prepare accurate recruiting reports and hiring updates.
  
• 
  Maintain and update recruitment materials and job postings as needed.
  
• 
  Support employer branding initiatives and promote the organization as an employer of choice.
  
• 
  Maintain flexibility to communicate with candidates across Pacific and Central time zones.
  
• 
  Support additional recruiting projects and initiatives as needed.
  

Required Qualifications

• 
  Minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience.
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of clinical healthcare recruiting experience.
  
• 
  Demonstrated experience sourcing and recruiting healthcare professionals.
  
• 
  Strong candidate sourcing skills using Indeed, job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and other sourcing platforms.
  
• 
  Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  
• 
  Experience managing candidates throughout the full recruitment lifecycle.
  
• 
  Experience conducting phone screens and structured or competency-based interviews.
  
• 
  Strong understanding of candidate assessment and selection processes.
  
• 
  Ability to independently develop and maintain candidate pipelines.
  
• 
  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
• 
  Strong candidate relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  
• 
  Excellent organization, prioritization, and follow-through.
  
• 
  Ability to work independently in a fully remote recruiting environment.

  Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment.

  Must be located within the Central or Pacific time zone.

  Must be able to work across Central and Pacific time zones and maintain schedule flexibility based on candidate availability.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 
  Previous recruiting experience within home health, home care, or hospice.
  
• 
  Hands-on experience with iCIMS.
  
• 
  Previous staffing agency recruiting experience.
  
• 
  Experience recruiting clinical professionals across multiple geographic markets.
  
• 
  Experience supporting high-volume healthcare hiring.
  
• 
  Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
