  • Assist with consenting new patients for research.
  • Work with the doctor(s) to see which protocol best fits the patient.
  • Send specimens for Biology studies; follow proper procedures for sending specimens, send copies of necessary protocol documents to pathology and lab.
  • Keep all research notebooks up to date. Make sure recent clinic visits and hospital stays are in notebooks.
  • Work with Pediatric Cancer Research Center Laboratory personnel to collect required info on all visits (expected and unexpected).
  • Register new patients on the website after the patient has been consented and meets eligibility criteria per the treating physician.
  • Report and follow up with outside institutions that patients have visited.

Associate's degree in a field of study related to the clinical research trial plus one (1) year related experience; OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal three (3) years

Certified Clinical Research Professional as defined by The Society of Clinical Research Associates OR

Ability to obtain certification as a Clinical Research Professional within two years from date of hire or upon eligibility
