HJF is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator I to perform clinical research and patient treatment in conjunction with one or more specified clinical research protocols. Developing adherence to legal, professional and ethical codes with respect to confidentiality and privacy. Helps assure that protocol requirements are achieved within Good Clinical Practices. This is the first of four levels, and the entry level position for the Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) series.

This position will be in support of the Complex Exposure Threats Center of Excellence (CETCE) at the VA Medical Center in Washington, DC. The Clinical Research Coordinator I will support the center's research portfolio focused on environmental exposures and health outcomes, by identifying, engaging, and enrolling eligible participants in accordance with approved study protocols and regulatory requirements. This role plays a central part in ensuring timely study enrollment and high‑quality participant interactions. The Research Recruiter conducts outreach, screens potential participants, coordinates study visits, and maintains accurate recruitment records. The position may support multiple research studies simultaneously.
