Our nationally recognized Pulmonary program provides comprehensive care for babies, children, and teens with conditions that impact their breathing and sleep. We offer specialized clinics dedicated to treating children with **cystic fibrosis** and **asthma** , and provide general evaluations for symptoms like coughing, shortness of breath, recurrent pneumonia, wheezing, chest pain, and exercise intolerance. Our multidisciplinary team includes doctors, nurses, social workers, respiratory therapists, and a dietitian, all committed to providing complete and compassionate care. We also collaborate closely with experts in **Otolaryngology, General Surgery, Rehabilitation Medicine, Sleep Medicine** , and **Radiology** to ensure integrated care for every child. **About the Role:** The primary objective of this vital initiative is to establish a comprehensive collection of data from patients under the care of our Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care physicians. This data will support future research endeavors, including NIH and industry-sponsored studies, ultimately contributing to groundbreaking discoveries in pulmonary health. As a Pulmonary Clinical Research Coordinator, Licensed RN you'll be an integral part of this mission, directly impacting the success of our research programs. You'll work closely with our physicians, research staff, and most importantly, our patients. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Participant Recruitment:** Assist with the identification, screening, and enrollment of eligible subjects for clinical research studies via telephone and/or in-person interactions. This includes clearly explaining study objectives, procedures, and potential benefits/risks to prospective participants. + **Study Visit Coordination:** Conduct study visits according to established protocols, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience for participants. + **Data Collection and Administration:** Support the accurate administration of questionnaires, diaries, and other data collection instruments as required by study protocols. + **Document Review and Quality Assurance:** Assist in the thorough review of study documents (e.g., consent forms, case report forms) to ensure completeness, accuracy, and strict adherence to regulatory guidelines (e.g., GCP, HIPAA). + **Data Entry and Integrity:** Perform accurate and timely data entry into various study databases and contribute to ongoing efforts to ensure data integrity and consistency across all research records. + **Patient Interaction:** Maintain a professional, empathetic, and compassionate demeanor when interacting with patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout their participation. + **Other Duties as Assigned:** Perform other related duties to support the overall goals of the research initiative.' **Required Education and Experience** BS in Nursing. Minimum of three (3) years nursing experience, to include a combination of the following: Pediatric experience. Research experience. **Required Credentials** Current Washington State licensure to practice nursing. At time of hire: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers is required for all positions. As a condition of employment: Current BLS for Health Care Providers is to be maintained at all times by all nurses. **Preferred** Master's Degree in Nursing. At least five (5) years research experience. Prior experience in assigned clinical research specialty area. Completion of the Ethics Course recognized by Seattle Children's IRB. **Compensation Range** $51.65 - $77.48 per hour **Salary Information** This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year).
