The Clinical Research Coordinator provides coordination and support for clinical research studies in accordance with study protocols, IRB requirements, and Institutional policies. Under the direction of the Supervisor/Manager and guidance from senior coordinators, youllassistwith participant recruitment, informed consent, data collection, specimen handling and regulatory documentation. This position follows established procedures and obtains direction for complex tasks. Hourly Pay Range: $22.19 - $32.73 Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree in biological sciences or related medical/scientific field required. Masters degree is preferred and may substitute for required experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Experience: Must have 12 years of related healthcare experience, preferably in a large healthcare system,or prior clinical research experience. Specialized Training: Must have Human Subjects Protection Training or be able to obtain it within 14 days of hire. Certification/Licensure: Must possess a current valid Arizona Drivers License. Prefer SOCRA certification as Certified Clinical Research Professional; or ACRP/APCR certification as a CRA, CRC or PI. Must be BLS certified through an approved American Heart Association training center upon hire. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong communication (oral and written) and presentation skills. Must be proficient in medical terminology. Must have strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications. Requires excellent project management skills and interpersonal communication abilities. Must have the ability to travel. Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred. Experience with venipuncture preferred but not required.
