Clinical Research Nurse II

As a Clinical Research Nurse II at ICON, you will the planning, implementation, and coordination of clinical research studies, ensuring adherence to protocol requirements and ethical standards, while contributing to the advancement of medical science and patient care.

What You Will Do:

You will contribute to clinical research operations activities, taking responsibility for your deliverables and working collaboratively.

Key responsibilities include:

We are seeking an OB/GYN Sonographer located in Bothell, WA. This is an onsite, part-time position. The ideal candidate will have experience in obstetric and gynecologic imaging, a patient-centered approach, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and document high-quality OB/GYN ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols.
  • Obtain diagnostic images of fetal, pelvic, gynecologic, and reproductive anatomy.
  • Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy throughout ultrasound procedures.
  • Review patient histories and verify appropriate imaging requirements.
  • Communicate findings and technical information to physicians and clinical staff.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of ultrasound procedures and patient records.
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, study coordinators, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment and imaging workspaces.

Your Profile:

You will bring relevant clinical research operations experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
  • Current RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) certification through ARDMS.
  • OB/GYN specialty certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of OB/GYN ultrasound experience.
  • Strong knowledge of obstetric, gynecologic, and fetal imaging.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM), reproductive health, or women's health settings.
  • Clinical research experience.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and imaging systems.
