Job summary
Band 5 ED Research Nurse.
Clinical research helps millions of people live longer and healthier lives. If you have a background or interest in Emergency Medicine and want to join this innovative and exciting speciality, then we are offering a unique and exciting opportunity to become part of the clinical research delivery team here within the ED.
The ED Research Team coordinate a wide range of studies from Emergency care, Trauma, orthopaedics, mental health, elderly care, and medicine, both with adults and children, and work closely alongside all speciality teams to deliver best patient care.
The role involves day to day care of participants and clinical studies including screening, recruitment and follow up.
Our team derives from a variety of backgrounds to create a multidisciplinary research team working together to deliver emergency care and front door research to a wide range of patients presenting to University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust from Plymouth and surrounding area.
