Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Registered Nurse (RN) - Research for a mission-driven clinical research organization advancing equitable healthcare access and innovative treatment solutions. This is a full-time, direct hire, onsite opportunity based in West Hollywood, CA.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Clinical Research Registered Nurse will play a key role in supporting clinical trials while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This position blends hands-on clinical nursing with research operations, ensuring studies are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about improving health outcomes for underserved populations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform protocol-required clinical procedures including assessments, specimen collection, phlebotomy, injections, IV placement/administration, and investigational product handling.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation across clinical records, research systems, and study reports.
• Support participant recruitment, screening, enrollment, informed consent, and retention efforts.
• Monitor participant safety, review lab results, reconcile medications, and escalate adverse events appropriately.
• Process and manage biological specimens in compliance with study protocols and regulatory standards.
• Partner cross-functionally with investigators, research staff, and sponsors to support study execution, audits, and ongoing trial operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Prior experience supporting clinical trials or research studies required.
• Knowledge of GCP, HIPAA, FDA regulations, and clinical documentation best practices.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide compassionate, culturally competent care.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This direct hire opportunity offers $114,400 annually / $55 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
