The Clinical Resource Nurse is a professional nurse who serves in a collaborative role with the department nursing staff to provide continuing education and support quality improvement and practice initiatives. The Clinical Resource Nurse works with department leadership staff to assure compliance with regulatory standards including Joint Commission (JC), NCQA Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH), CMS Meaningful Use (MU), OSHA/EOC, Safety/Infection Control, CLIA, Quality Care Audits, and DPH licensure requirement. The Clinical Resource Nurse is accountable for maintaining currency with own nursing practice and demonstrates commitment to own professional development and continuing education. The Clinical Resource Nurse will have continued clinical exposure to departmental workflows and work collaborate within clinical departments. Clinical practice within the department constitutes an average of 30% of the position.The successful candidate will be able to perform the following responsibilities:
