Clinical Service Manager

SCOPE OF POSITION:\n \nIn collaboration with the Director, assures the delivery of effective and sufficient patient care services for the Emergency department on a 24/7 basis.\n \nAssumes a leadership role within the unit to ensure that patient care services meet established standards in a manner consistent with Waterbury Hospital's mission, goals and objectives\n \nRESPONSIBILITIES:\n \nManaging unit's resources, including staffing, ensuring the delivery of safe, quality patient care and fiscal responsibility.\n \nREQUIREMENTS:\n\n RN, CT license or license eligible.\n BSN or BS degree in related field required.\n At least five(5) years experience in acute care nursing.\n Demonstrated leadership activities required.\n Current managerial/supervisory experience preferred.\n Excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to communicate among all levels of the organization essential.\n \nTHE ABOVE DESCRIPTION COVERS THE MOST SIGNIFICANT DUTIES PERFORMED BUT DOES NOT EXCLUDE OTHER OCCASIONAL WORK ASSIGNMENTS NOT MENTIONED, THE INCLUSION OF WHICH WOULD BE IN CONFORMITY WITH THE FACTOR DEGREES ASSIGNED TO THIS JOB.\n\n
