Organizational Relationship: The Clinical Services Coordinator reports to the Clinical Director of Outpatient PsychologicalServices. In the Clinical Director's absence, this position reports to the Director of Behavioral Health Support Services.
Job Definition: The Clinical Services Coordinator is a master's-level mental health clinician responsible for delivering outpatient behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and families through the CSIU's NEST Clinic, affiliated satellite sites located in local school districts, and via telehealth as needed. Services are strengths-based, culturally responsive, and aligned with OMHSAS (Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services) Chapter 5200 and Medicaid billing standards. In addition to providing diagnostic evaluations, therapy, and case coordination, this role holds primary responsibility for training, mentoring, and supporting the professional growth of counseling interns, new clinicians, and partner clinical staff. The Clinical Services Coordinator contributes to quality assurance processes, facilitates professional development in trauma-informed care and suicide prevention, and provides consultative leadership to school and community partners. This dual focus on clinical practice and workforce development strengthens CSIU's vision to build equitable, trauma-informed systems that connect clinical services with educational settings in a meaningful, sustainable way.
