Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
Five (5) or more years of clinical experience in the field of Nursing
At least three (3) years of experience in a leadership capacity
Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Arkansas.
Current BLS certification or must successfully obtain certification within the first 30 days of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree
Ambulatory clinic experience
National Nursing Certification
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance
Proficient in using healthcare software and databases
Desire to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development
Demonstrates empathy, compassion, and a commitment to delivering quality patient care
Additional Information:
Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily nursing operations, ensuring efficient staffing, development, budgeting, patient satisfaction, professional growth, and quality outcomes.
Collaborate with regional leadership to align clinical operations with UAMS goals, payer requirements, government regulations, and internal performance metrics.
Implement and uphold the organization’s vision, mission, philosophy, core values, evidence-based practices, and nursing support services.
Practice within the scope and standards of UAMS, the American Nurses Association, and Nursing’s Social Policy Statement.
Drive continuous improvement in patient experience, safety, and clinical quality metrics.
Develop staffing plans, manage budgets, and monitor resource utilization.
Foster a culture of professional development, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration.
Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
