Clinical Social Worker, LICSW, Waltham 32 hours

Position/Department Summary:
32-Hour LICSW social work position that will provide a range of clinical social work services and case management to the Waltham Satellite of Boston Children’s Hospital.  This satellite offers ambulatory services in over 35 inpatient and outpatient medical specialties plus imaging and laboratory services. This social work position will provide services to the whole site and all specialties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Psychosocial screening and assessment
• Counseling, crisis intervention, and facilitation of use of hospital and community services
• Acting as a resource information and referral, program development and psychosocial consultation to multidisciplinary teams  

Minimum Qualifications
Education:

• Master’s degree in social work.  LICSW licensure in the state of MA is required

Experience:

• Flexibility and the ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience in medical environment and with child protection issues helpful

Licensure:

• State of MA LICSW required

This position is 32/hours per week, is 100% onsite and based in Waltham (Free parking!)
