Behavioral Health Clinician
Juneau, AK
$70,000 - $120,000 Annually
 Full-Time

Join a dedicated outpatient behavioral health team providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals and families throughout Southeast Alaska.

Position Summary
The Behavioral Health Clinician provides outpatient mental health and substance use disorder services, including assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, individual and family therapy, crisis intervention, and care coordination. This role works closely with a multidisciplinary team to support positive patient outcomes and promote overall wellness.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Provide individual, family, group, and marital therapy

  • Deliver trauma-informed, evidence-based behavioral health interventions

  • Perform crisis intervention and safety planning

  • Coordinate care with healthcare providers and community resources

  • Maintain timely and accurate EMR documentation

  • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings

  • Meet productivity and quality standards

  • Participate in a shared after-hours crisis intervention rotation as assigned

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field

  • LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent preferred

  • New graduates pursuing licensure are encouraged to apply; clinical supervision available

  • Experience with behavioral health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning

  • Strong crisis intervention and communication skills

  • Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one within 6 months

  • BLS certification required within 3 months of hire
