Facility: Seton Medical Center Austin

Department/Speciality: Inpatient Pharmacy 

Schedule:Rotating  l  Full-Time

How you'll make an impact in this role:
  • Lead specialized pharmacy care by reviewing complex medication orders to prevent drug-related problems and ensure optimal patient outcomes in areas like oncology and cardiology.
  • Consult as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), guiding clinical leadership and cross-functional teams to elevate medication safety and therapeutic protocols system-wide.
  • Oversee technical personnel, ensuring precise compounding and dispensing of specialized medications for accurate and timely delivery of patient care.
  • Mentor the next generation of pharmacy professionals by serving as a preceptor for students, contributing to academic growth and knowledge sharing.
What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Pharmacist credentialed from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy required.

Education:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.
What additional requirements you'll need:
  • IV Certification 
  • Hospital Experience 
  • PGY1 Preferred (not required)
