Clinical Staff Pharmacist | Pharmacy | PRN Days

Overview

Provides pharmaceutical care services to the patients, physicians and staff of UF Health Central Florida. Is involved in various activities that include, but are not limited to:

• Interpretation of physician orders • Maintenance of medication profiles and providing drug information • Attendance and involvement in varied medical staff committees/meetings • Adverse drug reaction reporting and follow-up • Therapeutic interchanges • Parenteral nutrition monitoring • Pharmacokinetics dosing and follow-up • Medication dosing and follow-up (ex. coumadin, antibiotics) • IV to PO recommendations

Qualifications

Education:

• Professional School
• College Masters
• or more

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Valid Florida Pharmacist License

Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required:

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
