    Job Description

    Salary Pay Rate: $62,353.20-$70,000

    Shift: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4pm

    Provides clinical supervision and oversight to Level 1 and Level 2 Behavioral Intervention Specialists and clinicians across agency settings. Completes behavioral assessments, related Behavior Support Plans, and other behavioral interventions as needed. Provides training, modeling, and coaching to stakeholders in the implementation of behavioral interventions. Monitors & measures outcomes of interventions, and revises planning and training approaches as needed to facilitate positive outcomes.  

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Clinical supervision of Level 1 and Level 2 Behavioral Intervention Specialists in the development and provision of behavior support services to implement behavior support plans which include restrictive/intrusive interventions. 
    • Clinical supervision of direct practice clinicians in assessment, treatment/intervention, identification and resolution of ethical issues, and evaluation of client interventions. 
    • Clinical supervision of professional development to clinicians working toward New York State licensure. 
    • Clinical supervision of continued learning to clinicians for ongoing skills development. 
    • Clinical supervision to clinicians in work-related issues, which create a frame for the clinical work. 
    • Clinical supervision of treatment-team collaboration to clinicians in interacting with other service providers in the service environment. 
    • Evaluations of practice outcomes and clinical competencies. 
    • Provide education, consultation and training as needed to other service providers, treatment teams and to the public.  
    • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments, and other assessments as needed to inform Behavior Support Plan and/or services development 
    • Develops and/or revises Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) or provides alternate clinical recommendations per assessment findings 
    • Collaboration with treatment/support teams, families and alternate stakeholders to maximize multi-disciplinary & person-centered approaches, and positive outcomes. 
    • Complies with all agency policies and procedures. 
    • Other duties as assigned. 

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker with at least five years of clinical experience and specialized training or experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. 

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Responsible for the clinical supervision and development of behavioral intervention specialists and behavior techs.
